Crash Causes Three Mile Delays On I-66 In Fairfax County (Developing)

Traffic slowed to a crawl on Monday afternoon as crews contended with a crash in Fairfax County that shut down I-66.

At around 1:45 p.m. on July 22, first responders were called to a stretch of the eastbound lanes of the interstate, where the left, center, and right lanes were closed due to the crash, with traffic slowly getting by along the shoulder.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, motorists can expect delays while the crash was investigated and the scene was cleared.

No details about the crash have been released.
